myTOMRA is a free mobile application designed by Tomra Systems ASA for Android devices. The app offers a convenient and fun way to recycle. With myTOMRA, users can collect their recyclables and return them to their nearest recycling point. Once the recycling process is complete, users can collect their digital refunds directly into their myTOMRA account.
The app features a unique barcode that identifies users at the Reverse Vending Machine (RVM), ensuring that the correct deposit is paid into their account. Additionally, the map feature allows users to locate their nearest recycling point, check opening hours, accepted bottle types, and payout methods. myTOMRA also rewards users with badges for completing different challenges and tracks their progress. Users can transfer their refunds automatically to PayPal or similar digital payout methods or convert them into a digital receipt for a truly paperless recycling experience. Finally, users can check their recycling history and view the status of all their transactions, all through the app.
